A little frisbee golf in Pleasant Grove, UT

We loved getting together a couple of days with our amazing friends that live here. Got to hang out at their house right on the Murdock Canal which meant great views, bike riding and snow capped Mt. Timpanogos.

They are avid disc golfers and took the time to explain/teach us the game. We played a couple of great courses that they love going to and they gifted us our own starter kit so now we're hooked! Here are our Sports Illustrated shots.....

Steve is/was my amazing partner as I created Mormon Spectrum and he designed the MSiP map to make it possible for people to discover in-person communities all over the world. He spent some time passing on his knowledge to Jordan so he can take the lead on maintaining that now. He and Chris have given countless hours to communities around Utah supporting people and are some of the most loving folks I know.

We loved having a chance to spent some one-one time with them.

Well I learned something new today- Mormon Spectrum! I had no idea it existed. I just spent the last half hour there. What a labor of love and what an easy to use and navigate website! Bravo! What a resource.

I also have never heard of disk golf. Sounds more fun than regular golf, which I have never been remotely interested in. Still- I will probably just ride my horse.

I had no idea you weren't aware of Mormon Spectrum!! I should have asked or brought it up during our visits! I'm so glad you were able to browse on there and get an glimpse of the variety of resources. When I went through my faith transition, and occupied those various parts of the Mormon faith spectrum, it was really difficult and isolating. I wanted to create a space where anyone could more easily access the incredible variety of things that other people have done and are doing. It's been very rewarding to me to hear other's experiences as they use the site. I hope you enjoy using it and sharing it with others.

And ya disc golf! It's pretty…
