Boise Spring Fun

It's been fun to be able to spend time with Jess/Jared/Hallie/Jude & Kyle/Kaloni/Olive/Penny. That's included lots of hanging out, going to the park, playing games, biking & eating good food. Our RV spot at Boise Riverside RV Park had a great laundry room, showers (when you wanted a more luxurious shower where you didn't have to turn the water/on & off) and best of all backed up to our favorite thing in Boise.....the Greenbelt. It's a 25 mile+ pathway that follows the river and is perfect for biking/walking and stopping to enjoy the river. Sometimes it winds it's way next to houses and then through parks and we never get tired of using it. It was great to be able to hop on our bikes, ride 6.5 miles to downtown, and sit outside enjoying the cool eateries.

It was also soooooo cute to see the baby geese

And the baby ducks!

We loved having a sleepover with Hallie/Jude in the RV. We played games, ate mac/cheese & hotdogs, biked and took them kayaking for their first time. After watching Space Jam we all collapsed!

One warm day we dropped a bike off at beautiful Ann Morrison Park and then drove to Barber Park to begin kayaking our way back. It was about 6.5 miles and included some small rapids and dropoffs that you go over which was fun.

I've had a chance to periodically bake a loaf of bread in the bread baker I got from Joe in Spring City using the recipe I learned from Lee. It's so cool to be able to do this in the little microwave/convection oven using our solar panels for power!

Such a great time with family. It looks like you're living your best life! No bike paths here, but hopefully things will green up by the time you arrive 😁.
