Back to Bozeman, Montana!

We arrived at the end of a spring snow storm which meant very changeable and pretty views as we drove through Island Park and Yellowstone....

The weather also resulted in us altering our plans for where we we were going to stay so we ended up at Bozeman Hot Springs RV Campground the first few nights and then over at Bozeman Trail Campground. They both worked out just fine and made it easy to get things done in town as we were coming/going.

It was so fun to spend some time getting together with our good friends Ryan & Veronica Swallow. We had fun catching up, eating out, hiking and squeezing in time (around me recovering from an unexpected reaction after my second shingles vaccine which knocked me out for a day).

We spent a few days going through our storage unit sorting everything into piles. We hauled a lot of stuff to a local Thrift store to donate. After determining what we wanted to keep we loaded those things (as well as all of Kim's belonging which she had been storing in our unit) into a UHaul truck. We had hoped to spend a few days playing with Kim, as she flew in to help, but things got kinda hectic so we only had a couple of days together but it was soooo fun to see her. Then she/Jordan headed to Portland to get things all settled in her apartment and put our stuff in a storage unit there. That meant one long driving day and one long unpacking day for them but they managed to get it all done and then Jordan flew back to Bozeman.

While they were doing the moving days I grabbed a beer (and enjoyed the amazing views) at my one of my favorite tasting rooms - Map Brewery and wandered downtown a bit.

I also spent two days just enjoying myself up at one of my favorite places - Hyalite Reservoir. I sat and soaked up the views and took my raft out for some paddling.

It seemed like a super busy week as we tried to squeeze everything in and we wish we'd had a little more time!

Ouch about the shingles vaccine! I was glad to see you got some alone time at a favorite place. Days like that are such medicine for the soul. Way better than a U-haul moving adventure. I am sure Kim is grateful for all the help and stuff🥰

Ya I was totally caught off guard that night when I ran a 101.5' fever and had chills/aches all night! I definitely got the easy part of moving Kim since I got 3 days to relax and enjoy the areas I love.
