After 9 years of living, and LOVING, Bozeman, Montana we are heading into our next adventure.
In March we spent hours reviewing the pandemic forecasts and realized things were about to get very challenging owning a Bed & Breakfast. We had tried to make adjustments to keep ourselves, staff and guests safe, but we realized this wasn't going to be possible for much longer. Cancellations had already begun to pour in for the upcoming spring/summer. After putting our heart and soul into renovating this historic home, and building a successful business, the time had come to put the For Sale sign in the yard and plan our next steps. Fortunately we were able to find wonderful buyers, who fell in love with the home, and the sale was completed mid May. I was ready to just enjoy retirement for a while after the hard work of running the business!
What should we do now?
For a number of years we had joked that after all the hard work we'd put into the renovation......our next place was going to be a tiny house or perhaps an RV where we would just travel!
So begins our nomadic life
Since Jordan was able to continue to work at his job remotely we decided to roam for a bit using short term rentals and do some exploring. We planned out our various destinations and lined up places to stay, took TONS of trips to Goodwill, put things on the curb (and in a storage unit) and packed up a small U-Haul trailer.
